Rebecca Scott

Rebecca Scott - Teacher for Originally from the North East, Rebecca began dancing at Prima Academy of Performing Arts, Tyne and Wear when she was aged six. She went on to attend the Preston Dance College to study ballet, national, tap, modern and graduated in 2010 with Advanced grades in all four subjects. Whilst at college, Rebecca also studied with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance towards teaching certificates and was awarded a Diploma in Dance Education in ballet, modern and national.

Rebecca went on to perform around the UK with companies including Bourne Leisure and the Newcastle Pantomime Company, as well as dancing on stage and screen as a backing dancer. In 2011, Rebecca qualified as a Zumba® and Zumba Gold® instructor. 2012 saw Rebecca relocate to London where she is a very popular and well-liked teacher and keeps up a very busy freelance teaching timetable.

She also performs on the side with a Swing and Lindy Hop dance troupe!

Now in her sixth year teaching for Ballet4life, and we are very pleased to have her bringing her talents to our clients. Her enthusiasm and energy has really impressed our clients and she ran our popular Thursday morning Beginner Improvers drop-in Ballet Class. She also has assisted Donna on a West London dance- for -schools programme, on corporate wellness programmes, at local Festivals, and is an excellent last minute cover teacher as well! She led the Tuesday afternoon dance, jazz & exercise class for Women Only which started in March 2016 and was being sponsored by Get Active Hounslow! 

Since September 2016 at our lovely new dance venue in Chiswick, Rebecca's been offering the new and very popular and fun 50+ Dance and Fitness Class on Tuesday mornings. She will also be giving a Beginner Ballet Barre & Dance Fitness class and General Level Ballet class on Monday mornings starting in April 2017.Please stop by and try one! She makes the hard work seem very easy to master!

Rebecca has a Diploma in Dance Education with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, which was awarded at Preston College. She is a member of ISTD and of Equity, has current PLI, and is First Aid Trained. She recently completed the online training course with Dance for PD and People Dancing and has been visiting Move into Wellbeing our Registered Charity classes in Chiswick.
